A self-guided tour in Corsica with three women friends:

Dear Jennifer:

I just wanted to extend my sincerest thanks for the incredible job you did for our tour to Corsica. Your route maps were fantastic and the hotels were perfect for us. I can't believe what a wonderful tour you created for us. It was truly "corsicarma" because everything worked out so well for us. I would highly recommend Corsica for any serious rider to come and enjoy the fantastic scenery, hills, beaches, people and food. Thank you so much for such a wonderful job. I would use your services again any time I wanted to ride in Europe. You are the best!!!!!

Pamela M. Geisel

Jennifer,

Pam summed it up. We truly had a fabulous time and toasted you often at the end of each perfect day. What a great itinerary!

We all felt like you did an excellent job of tailoring the trip for exactly what we were looking for. If you send some brochures I would love to get them in our local bike shops as well.

Look forward to the next trip (I might need to plan one with my husband!)

Thanks again, Lori

From Tim Kallman and Kate Grinberg, self-guided and self-supported tour in Provence

Jennifer,

… this trip was truly fantastic. It exceeded our expectations, in terms of the amount of fun we had, the level of adventure, and the ease of working out the logistics. You deserve the credit for all of this. We congratulate ourselves on finding you. If we had tried to organize this trip ourselves, it would have been more stressful, and less fun. If we had done a real organized group ride we would have felt like cattle... This trip was as close to perfect as it could have been and was the most fun we've had in a long time, and we will remember it fondly. Except that now we are motivated to do more trips which are comparably good... Maybe we will do Corsica someday soon, and call you...

A letter from Wendy Nero, sent to a friend considering the TDF. Wendy was on the 2005 TDF tour.

Steve,

Jennifer planned and led an amazing trip. The accommodations were superb, food excellent, insight into the Tour and getting access only a small group with a knowledgeable leader can provide. It was one of my all time favorite vacations. Our group was very congenial and several of us have maintained a strong friendship

As for riding, being from Florida I too had to train hard to get ready for the hills. We also had recreational riders who rode what they could and then the sag van picked them up, so if you choose 10, 20, 50 or even NO miles on a given day, Jennifer will provide a lift if you need it.

If I didn't have plans this year, I would definitely return with Jennifer and Viva travels to the tour. In fact, I wouldn't go to the tour with anyone but Jennifer - the best by far! It was outstanding - GO FOR IT!!!!!!

From Brian Bibeau and Kim Arrington, Tour de France 2007, plus a self-guided exploration of Normandy A totally WOW vacation! That's the short version of our Viva Travels bike trip to the 2007 Tour de France. Jennifer was terrific in the planning and execution of our adventure. We stayed in cool hotels, ate good food and spent the days riding tour stages and otherwise soaking up the total Tour experience. Jennifer was guide, teacher and wine selector. She speaks French and loves the country. She also helped us plan a week tracing my Uncle's WW2 route (Normandy) and a stay in Paris. Jennifer is the best! We would not have changed a thing and we plan to go again with her and our friends in 2009.

From Mike Kelly, who attended the 2004 TDF, in a letter to his Local bike shop Oscar,

You should definitely go to the Tour de France next year. I went in 2004 and had the time of my life. We spent 10 days in the Alps, riding till our heart's content - climbing Alpe D'Huez was unbelievable!!!! The touring company I picked was a huge reason we had so much fun…they hooked us up in a big way and made our trip really fun and enjoyable. The company's name is "Viva Travels" and the owner's name is Jennifer Sage. We ran into some folks from the Backroads company as well as the offering by Trek Bikes - each company has its own philosophy, but I was pleased with how our group was handled. I heard a grumble or two from some of the other company's riders, but who knows what that means; maybe they just had a bad day.

Jen and her team let us have a perfect trip, the sort of trip where the only thing we had to worry about was riding our bikes all day. We had great places to stay, great food all throughout the day, great people to ride with, a great support van, and, most importantly, great routes along which to ride our bikes. I'm definitely going to take another trip with Jennifer's company, maybe this time in Italy.

Go to the Tour no matter what! You won't regret it!

Mike
