Experience the charm, beauty and history of Beaver Creek, Glenwood Springs, Vail and Aspen, Colorado. You will be amazed at the beauty of the Rocky Mountains, where you will be surrounded with towering peaks you as you ride through historic mining villages, verdant valleys, breathtaking canyons and alongside tranquil streams and the rushing Colorado River.
Due to the layout of this tour, we can accommodate everything from athletic beginner to advanced cyclists seeking a challenge. Many of our routes utilize bicycle paths, some completed as recently as last spring, turning a once trafficked ride into an outstanding bicycle ride. Even though we are in the heart of the Rocky Mountains, you can take your pick of relatively flat rides, mild climbs, or add on some more serious climbs like Vail Pass or Maroon Bells.
We begin and end in Beaver Creek, which has been called a fairy tale village, nestled in a little valley surrounded by aspen, spruce and pine trees at the base of a world-class ski resort. Our hotel is the majestic Pines Lodge perched directly above Beaver Creek Village. We will be here 2 nights at the beginning and one night at the end, for convenient arrival and departure.
We will spend one night each at the historic Hotel Colorado in Glenwood Springs, built in 1893, and the very famous, luxury Hotel Jerome in ritzy downtown Aspen, built in 1889!
Exquisite hotels, incredible meals and memorable scenic cycling will make this a trip of a lifetime.
